I loved photographing this wedding! It was my first time, but not the last, to visit this beautiful Marriott property. My sissistant (sister + assistant) and I had a great time working with coordinator extraordinaire, Pat Herndon.

The bride and groom were surrounded by their family and friends under the glorious oak trees overlooking Mobile Bay. Her hair was the most beautiful and unique I have seen. It was elegant and sophisticated and not too overdone. I loved that all of her red hair was pulled off to the side. Their guests enjoyed the gorgeous sunset during the cocktail hour and a beautiful evening dancing away to the music of Mr. Big.

Nick first asked Dana out by writing on a lampshade, so it was fitting that he present this to his bride right before they walked down the aisle.

Rhonda’s cake was a wonder! She handmade these detailed white and ivory flowers, aren’t they beautiful? This cake was one of my very favorite cakes of all time.
