I am Kay Meyer, Tallahassee based professional photographer.... traveling all over the southeast. (FYI...the photos on this bio will change with each visit, I wanted you to see a glimpse of my life, working and playing...they are not professional and typically shot just like you, with an iPhone:)
I have a passion for life and photography. Each and every time I pick up my camera, my goal is to create compelling images for you. The creation of emotional images that tell your story is what I truly love. I can look at any image I have shot over the past 13+ years and tell you what was happening at that moment.
Whether is is an elegant wedding, fun family session, modern headshot or company profile, I work closely with you to ensure we are both thrilled with the final images..... that becomes your story.... and in turn fuels my passion.
family life...
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Andrew for 16 years. I am the mama of 3 beautiful children who are all involved in sports and 2 crazy dogs. My goal is to shoot between 20-25 weddings per year. I look up my children's school calendars and block out holidays, teacher planning days, birthdays, etc. I strive for balance in my work and family life.... which is hard at times, but setting time aside a year ahead of time makes a huge difference.
I enjoy volunteering at Gilchrist Elementary School as the head of the Grizzly Yearbook Club, serving on several community boards and am president elect of TAWP (www.tawp.org.) I love playing tennis a few times a month with my friends, cheering for the Seminoles and really enjoy the time I get to spend with my family at the St. Teresa beach house.
I have a very blessed life that is full of people I love.

LeiAnna` - Do you do custom wedding packages? I am looking for a package that includes the engagement session, at least 8 hours wedding day coverage, and all images from the engagement and wedding on a disc with print release. How much is your rate for that? We are planning on having our wedding at the Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, GA.
